long queues in malls but everyone has this certain happy aura these days.. Thanks Christmas..

four days before Christmas: still doing my shifts. why do i always associate Christmas with love couples?

it's a hearty season, isn't it?

three more days:
... did my Christmas shopping. the mall is soooo crowded, but everyone is looking giddy. a lot of people are still doing last-minute shopping. i also had to buy the ingredients i would use for my Christmas share for Christmas eve dinner, which is fruit salad! as for gifts, i am broke so i only bought little things for my friends. they'd understand, i know. haha. here's what i got for them:

cute phone straps for the win!!

two days and it's Christmas!!
... wrapped my gifts for my little angels.. i hope they will like what i got for them.

i like gift wrapping. it's sort of therapeutic in a weird way. haha

and the countdown continues..

seven days to go before Christmas..

this flower, which name i do not know, is planted out our home. i just noticed them this past days, in time for Christmas.

down to six more days..

Christmas season equates to exchange gifts, this is what i got from a friend, a Doraemon coin bank and stationery pad. mucho kawaii-ness!!

five days.. YAY!!

HURRAY for Christmas-themed table napkins!! we have a lot of those here at home.
and my friends are fangirls of them.

i have a lot of Christmas parties scheduled and i usually don't attend them. LOL, i am such a party snob.

nobody should be grumpy and everybody should just be festive.. it's Christmas!!

I am on work on Christmas eve. I do not care much about myself as to where i would celebrate Christmas, i feel sad though that i am one less person on our Christmas eve dinner table. we have been decreasing in number each year, and i am subtracting my self this year.
on the bright side of things, i am at home on New Year!

this month, i have visited the internet lesser and lesser each day. and that is thanks to plants vs zombies. (there are zombies on your lawn.. there are zombies on your lawn...). when i am at home i sleep often for i have been in graveyard shift for three months now. cruel.

i always walk home from church, so this is my Christmas project..

twelve days before Christmas..

eleven days before Christmas..

ten days before Christmas:

it's not Christmas-related, i know, but Spongebob and Patrick are too cute to be ignored.

the minute i turned 22, my crush was the person talking to me, randomly asking me a question:

him: where are they?
me: they went to the office.

COOL. haha. that moment made my day. how cheesy can that be? UH. ♥♥♥

well, i never really expected that he was on night shift as well, he was assigned in a different area, so when he suddenly came in our area, i was surprised, (which i tried very hard to suppress. HAHA.) and i was singing in my mind: tonight's gonna be a good night!! and tonight's gonna be a good good night!! I WAS GIDDY FOR THE REST OF THE NIGHT because he was there!!

yes, i recently turned 22. but aside from the fact that my crush kept on popping out from nowhere and that he spent so much time in our area rather than his, it was a plain day. nothing much event.

i was on graveyard shift, so i spent my first 6 hours of the day in the hospital, where i listened to staff (and my crush ♥) talk about work-related gossips. i did not tell anybody it was my birthday, so nobody really greeted me, aside from my friend, Meg, who gave me a shaun the sheep bag as present. REALLY CUTE. i love it. ♥♥♥

when i went home, i passed by the church and attended mass (which was about half-done when i arrived) stayed and prayed in church for some time, and thanked God for the good life He gave me.

i walked the rest of my way home, which is the thing i most love doing everyday. the reminiscing is absolutely cool.

when i reached home, a cake was awaiting me (with just 2 candles), the cruel thing is there is a new rule in our house, if it's your birthday, you'll have to sing Happy Birthday Song for your own. so i sang to myself happy birthday. tragic. but i was cool with that.

i checked facebook, and was surprised with a couple of greetings from people who i didn't expect would even bother greeting me. but i was happy. and grateful. i feel appreciated. and i thank God for that.

my mom sent me an e-card, i was a bit sad that we didn't get to see each other on skype, because i was already sleeping when she called.

the rest of the day was as normal as any other day. and i even had to go to night shift again that night.

I know God gave me a cute gift that day, so i don't really mind how normal it went.

it was weirdly special in some ways.
and i am happy. ♥
