I confess, I am a book-slave. Unable resist buying books when I know for a fact that I am broke. Whut!
I have an excuse: It was on sale.

Off to Westeros. Anyone coming?

I officially declare myself a Game of Thrones fan.

Finished the series after 11 hours. It's so hard to resist watching another episode after the other.

Everything in it is just amazingly great!

I cannot wait for the next season!

Not related but, I also found great instrumentals.

Just finished reading Mockingjay.

Well, I got what I wanted for an ending, but the book was so hard to finish. There were multiple times when I stopped after every paragraph I read, because I was soooooo bored. It felt inappropriately lengthy a lot of times. And when you need it to be precise and vivid, it finishes the scene in a snap. I don't know what to make of it. I felt it was dragging but then I also felt it was rushed. Some questions were not answered. Some characters, though minor, could've had better life/death. Others were left into the unknown. Indeed, I got what I was rooting for an ending, but the way it was presented was also meh. Catching Fire is better than the 2 other books, imo.

But anyway, it has some good points as well. I think.

Like, it is not Twilight in any sense. Oh thank God. Why did they even start comparing it to Twilight? Nothing like, feeling you've wasted so much hours of your life reading it. Give me back my hours, Twilight.

I'm still sure I'll watch the movie.

And so, I've finished the trilogy, Game of Thrones tv series is next.

One more thing, I've never ever thought that Perks of Being a Wallflower will have a movie. Read about the adaptation only today. One of my favorite books. It has Emma Watson in it. Glad. :)

Sometimes you realize the journey you've been taking has reached it's final stop. So the question becomes "Where do you go next?".

Had a long day yesterday.

Went to an exam having only 30 minutes of sleep. And being the immuno-compromised that I am, had bad colds during the exam.

Then went to a government office and accomplished nothing.

I also had to go to another office. But as I am always judging my instincts around office locations in the metro, I didn't google the address before going. Which made me walk 2 kilometers from the train station I went down on, and then knowing that the office I was looking for was right outside the train station. I had an unplanned exercise. 0_0

When I arrived at the office, they were attending to number 186. I was number 275.

I had to wait for so long. And since I had no sleep, however embarassing it was, I has taking a nap in one corner, hahaha. At around 2pm I realized that I have not eaten lunch and that the last meal I had was at 5am. So I looked for a place to eat and ate. And what the fuck was I thinking that I only ate bread and water? No idea. I am not even on a diet.

At the end of the day I didn't get what I needed to get. How frustrating.

A year ago at this exact date, I was feeling sad and excited. I left my country and tried to look for luck in another one. I was feeling hopeful that it would turn out good and that I'd still be able to come back home alive. I didn't cry in the airport. In the plane, I tried my hardest not to, but seeing the last flicker of street light from your beloved home country, thinking that you won't be seeing it for a year, is just too much emotion to contain inside.

On top of feeling sad, I was very excited. Living in another country, meeting new people, getting a new job. I had to make my self strong and mature to go out there and face a whole new experience. Sacrifices were made. Small goodbyes were said.

Being in that country will probably fall under worst experiences of my life category, but I sure did learn a lot. I was back in my country after 6 months, alive. I am truthfully thankful to God for that. And sincerely thankful that I am out of that place now.

On another note:

House is ending. That just made me sad. :(
I will miss Hugh Laurie.

Laser Tag Day :)

My 4 friends and I tried Laser Tag for the very first time.
It was a total fun.
AND WE SUCKED AT IT!

We played against 13 high school kids (12 boys & 1 girl); and from all 18 players, my four friends and I ranked 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th and 18th. That's how much we failed at this game. LOLLLLLL.
Well of course, we're neophytes. That's our lame excuse. And the kids seemed to be on that place 5 times a week. And they had some codes that made us absolutely confused. And they had a game plan. And of course it's our first time! HAHAHAHAHA

Evidence of how I sucked at Laser Tag.
My game name was Blade.
It was cool, but I wasn't. Dang it!

Well at least, we've learned techniques. Looking forward to another Laser Tag day.

And for that, Barney Stinson is awesome.

I've watched Waters of Mars around 4 times, and consistently, I always end up replaying my favorite line:

"It's the Philippines, I bet. If there's someone else on Mars, it's got to be the Philippines. All those stories about them building a rocket."

Just because it has Philippines in it. And we are building rockets. How kickass. Really. HAHA

Am I the one whose suppose to start this rumor? LOL.
